Poor Ellie has been having a heck of a time with her allergies and her reactive airway (aka, asthma). Thursday when I picked her up from school we came hope to play outside with her new bubble machine. She played out there for about 30 minutes, then came back in and her eyes were swollen almost completely shut. She had also started coughing really bad. I gave her some Benadryl and we started her Pulmicort nebulizer again.
Friday she seemed to be a little better. No wheezing, a little coughing. Dropped her off at school with explicit instructions to call me if she started wheezing. When I picked her up she wasn't wheezing but had some serious coughing. We got home and to stop the coughing had to give her an albuterol nebulizer treatment. Albuterol is great at reducing her coughing but it jazzes her up and she can't sleep. She and Chris stayed up until about 11:30 when she fell asleep watching Fox and the Hound.
Saturday things were a bit better until she tried to go to sleep. Coughing...so much coughing. I thought she was going to vomit she was coughing so much. She was withering in pain every time she coughed. Again with the albuterol treatment, this time at 11:00pm. She was up until 1:30am with Chris.
To make a long story short (too late) she is having one heck of a time kicking this stuff. It doesn't help that the pollen is so bad here right now that sheets of yellow cover all of the cars, houses, decks, etc. Plus, the albuterol is throwing off her sleep schedule, majorly!
Please send good breathing vibes Ellie's way, this could be a long spring!

Shoot! I am so sorry about that. Sickness stinks. Especially when it is happening to sweet innocent little babies :( Your pics are gorgeous of the girls. I love the one of Ellie with her head to the side and all those curls. They are beauties...just like their momma!
